Commitment

Commitment, what a huge word huh? It can have so many meanings to different people so what is it all about?

I have been having a hard time staying committed to working out on a schedule. If you know me super personally people know that I am not one that likes things out of whack and what not. I like things in a pretty little row, where they are supposed to be, I like things to be done on time, and I prefer a routine.

I have been finding that living in America and not 5 minutes from my job takes a lot of effort to work out. I have to get up at 5:30 for work, then I work all day and come home to cook dinner because most times I am getting hungry as I walk in the door. I am no longer committed to my results, my health, or my fitness/life plan. There has been a shift and I am trying to get it worked out and find a solution to my problem so that I can once again be committed to my life, goals, and desires!

1.) I have to stay focused. I try to do too many things at once instead of doing everything one thing at a time. I need to be more patient and focused.

2.) I need to really remember why I am doing this for the long term.

3.) I am going to start preparing my meats etc on Sunday's and make that a bulk cooking day and eat what I actually set aside.

4.) I am not going to follow I am going to lead myself and family back into the healthy healthful meals.

5.) I am going to be committed to my 5 AM workouts and choose a routine that is between 30-45 minutes 5-6 days a week and stick to that schedule.

6.) Put everything that I have into what I do! :)

This is my before and after and I need to remember WHY I started this journey of health for myself and family!!!!

What is your why? Do you have problems with commitment in a part of your life?

Disney Princess Half

Running is something that I have always been interested in and took a liking to since the Army. I ran every morning it seemed like for up to 6 miles at a time. It was pretty rough but we did it. The more and more I get to my fitness goals I have to keep myself entertained. I am doing Brazil Butt Lift again but I started to run with the girls that I work with today and I can say that I felt WONDERFUL getting outside after a really long morning in the office behind a desk. Not to mention I am taking my last college class and I am SO PROCRASTINATING on this 10 page paper that I have due next week. I digress....... Well about 2 weeks ago I was looking up the Disney half marathon that happens in January and I stumbled across the Disney Princess Half Marathon! AHHHH how crazy would it be for me to run at Disney World in a TUTU!!!! HA HA HA!

Since I have turned 30, I have taken on this thing about getting out of my comfort zone and going for the things that I made excuses for and running 13 miles was one of them. I thought about doing it while I lived in AK and now the time is nearing and I am thinking that this is TOTALLY something that I should do!

I ran today for the first time in awhile and I have the runkeeper app on my iphone. I never used it before but I tried it today and it was AMAZING. What I ended up doing was getting into a race with myself LOL it told me what my pace was and I ran to keep it there needless to say what was supposed to be a group run turned into a solo run but I ran 3.1 miles in 27 minutes which was pretty cool! I think I am going to keep this up and see if I can get through the next two weeks (I'm going to San Diego and FL) with running whenever I can. If I can keep up with it and not face any injuries at running 3 times a week than we shall see what happens! I am totally excited! I can't wait to let you know if I am going to register or not!

TO GETTING OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE!!!! AND TO BEING 30!!!!!!!!!!

Have a wonderful day!!!!!

My health maintenence helper

Other than putting healthy food in my mouth I am in LOVE with my health shake, Shakeology. I SWEAR this helps me maintain my weight. I am not always conscious of what I eat and I don't always eat as many vegetables as I should, this helps my body and I stay where I want it to stay.

I totally believe that it is worth the investment because I love my life and I really love it looking the way that it does and with that I love how I feel when I have nothing to worry about. Living a healthy lifestyle has a side effect, and that side effect is weight loss and then you graduate to weight maintence. This is the first time that I have ever in my life been concious of what I put into my mouth and now that I am I really want everything that goes in there to be clean and natural. This product is all of that, it helps me maintain my regularity, I have more energy, I don't wake up groggy all the time, I can get through my workouts and I get my daily vitamins and antioxidants that help prevent cancer. This is my prevention tool for weight maintenence and a premature death due to lack of health.
Why don't you take the challenge and get out of your comfort zone and give it a try for 30 days. There is a bottom of the bag gaurentee and all you have to do is return if it you don't like it and if you drink all of it you can return the bag empty.......you have nothing to lose but some weight......I don't know but I know that it has worked for me and it has worked for the friends that I know that have tried it! Give it a shot!
