My favorite recipe

Breakfast for me is one of the most important meals of the day but it is also the most predictable. Eggs, bacon, cereal, french toast, an omelet. Well today I bring you my favorite breakfast choice for the morning.

Southwestern Black Beans with Fried Eggs and Avocado. :D

1 can low sodium black beans
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp cumin
1tsp chili powder
1-3 garlic cloves

You put that all into a pan cook it on low-medium heat for 5 minutes and you have a wonderful protien breakfast. Just add a fried egg on top and a few slices of avocado on this side and you will probably never look at breakfast the same again!

Enjoy!

Family Trip to Plymouth!

We went to go see Mayflower II

Daddy and his little buddy!

My son B hanging out

You can tell that C is not having as much fun!

With moving in and time coming up short on my Big Guy going back home TOO SOON! I decided that it was time to get out of the house and ignore the boxes ignore the summer reading program that B is doing. We took a trip to Plymouth to go see the Plymouth Rock and the Do-over of the Mayflower.

We had a great time! It was nice to get out of the soon to be routine and go and do something that my children would remember and capture the moment!

I am absolutely 100% blessed in my life! My children are fantastic and I love them beyond what words can express! My husband is my rock and through God and him I feel that I can conquer this world. Now that I am back where I want to be and where God has it set our for my family to be my heart is truly happy!

I can speak enough about how happy I am to be out of Kodiak and back into what I know as normal. I am closer to B and C gets to have a better relationship with his brother because of it. Life hasn't always been easy for me and I can say that I have overcome a lot and have seen that I have true strength, more than I ever imagined! I hope that you enjoy my special family moments just as much as I enjoyed documenting them :D

What I am doing now!

Well we are finally moved into our home! I am so excited to be in the United States! I can tell you that since we have been home we have a lot of expenses that we didn't even think that we would incur so I have to keep myself busy with things to do at home for a few months until our pay gets all settled and the things that we need are all taken care of. Meaning we need to balance the budget once again.

Anyway I have decided to take on Brazil Butt Lift for 30 days. I have worked out while I was traveling the U.S but not nearly as much as I have wanted to so I thought that since my fitness levels were down I would try this workout out finally. It has been sitting in my closet and i have done it for about a week and a half but never really completed all the program suggested for the 30 days for my body type.

Mine is the pear shape and you are supposed to do the suggest workouts for your body type and then go to the combination plan.

I started it on Sunday and I can tell you that WOWZA! My thighs and bum bum (boom boom) were sore and my rest day came at the perfect time. I really am enjoying the program and for 30 days and a reduction or dissolution of cellulite and a lifted bum bum well.... I am in. I haven't take before and I won't take after shots only because I don't want my derriere plastered all over the internet but I did take measurements so hopefully that will help. I have been on it for 6 days now and I feel like it is making a difference but only time will tell.

If you would like more information you can comment below or send me an email and I will gladly send more information. If you have seen the infomercials and would like to purchase it yourself than Click Here

Camping and 5 pounds!

Officially back from camping and what a HOT and weird week it was...I won't go into details but it wasn't what I had imagined in my head.....No camp fire because there was a burn ban here in Missouri and it was hot as HELL (literally) 105 degrees I mean dang! I thought we were further North not on the Equator! LOL.

It brings me to my point in my title I gained 5 pounds.....WHAT THE HECK IS THAT? Well really I didn't go to the bathroom well because I didn't drink that much water and because I didn't drink that much water and ate salty foods I bloated all my muscle tone is gone and I am what I like to call FLUFFY!

I have never craved a workout and healthy food so bad before. I SEE people in the United States and after being secluded for years in Kodiak, AK I can actually SEE that obesity really is a problem here and I saw it directly with my husbands family nearly all of them are severely over weight.....then all the food that I ate because I was dependent on when other people cooked and what not and for the sake of not being judged I didn't leave to get something to eat for myself so on top of feeling fluffier and fluffier every day I wasn't eating well or drinking enough water like I should. Now we are back and getting ready to hit the road but I am going to workout tomorrow even if it doesn't make sense to LOL. It will just make me feel better to jump around and get some kind of workout it.

I am more than ready to be home to set up my gym and go. I am over living by the way others live and I am ready to have my own space be in control of the foods that I am putting in my body and getting my routine down so that I can workout everyday. I am kicking myself in the rear severely for not making sure that my workouts were in my closet of things for the movers not to take and I am POSITIVE that it will not happen again.

When I am able to get on the internet I will post a day in the life of me so that you can see what I eat and what exactly it is that I do on a REGULAR healthy day! :D Until then......two more non air conditioned night at the in-laws........I can't wait to go home!

"Wild"

I have spent a week and a half at my in-laws house in Missouri in a town that has a population of 2,000 people. Can we say slowwwww life?

It hasn't been terrible but I have found myself with a lot of time on my hands and I am not in school right now so I have picked up a few books to read. Summertime......doesn't that mean reading time to some people too. I hear so many people talk every year about GREAT SUMMER reads so I indulged and read a Discovery of Witches (very good I must say) and Wild by Cheryl Strayed (She made up her own last name!) I have to say that Wild is a book that will stick with me for some time to come.

It was about this woman who's life got turned upside down mostly because of her own doing after her mother passes away and then she decides to take this crazy long 1,000 + mile hike out on the Pacific Crest Trail and just hike. Along the way she talks about her past how she messed it up, how she wishes she had a father around and the regrets that she has made in her own life not to mention the different people that she meets along the way on her hike from California through Washington. What hit me the most about this book is that she mentioned that she didn't need anything else to survive but what was on her backpack that she took with her.....it made me think.....well shoot here I am worried about the next thing I am going to buy or how I am going to decorate my house and even when I am going to work on getting promoted again at work........there is something wrong there isn't it? Some people would say absolutely not but what ever happened to stop worrying about tomorrow when today is sitting right flat in your face. What things are going to matter when you die it certainly isn't the fad or the fashion or the home decor......it's going to be whether you filled your life with great relationships learning things and if you have faith most importantly WHERE you are going when you leave this Earth.....It was an absolutely humbling book to read (not something that I would normally read). It put many things in perspective to me and I couldn't have read the book at a more perfect time giving that we are going to be going camping here in a few minutes.

I guess the moral of the story is.........with life you can't worry about everything you have to do what you can and what makes you happy in life. Being healthy, loving, learning, spending time with your family instead of being glued to your phone or computer.....living without regret and enjoying the now and the things that really matter.

It was a great book! I thoroughly enjoyed it!
