I don't know about you but EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I have gone on a weight loss journey I have been well.......alone.
It wasn't until I got hooked up with Beachbody that I totally understood I didn't have to be alone! I had people cheering me on and checking in on me and I just sat in my room on the other side of the computer saying WOW people really care about me succeeding in my goals! I thought that it was magic.
You see, I always went at my weight loss alone. I wanted a buddy but when I really got down to it I really HAD to do it on my own. I know most of you won't go straight up to someone out there and say "HEY! Will you cheer me on while I lose my weight!" Your friend says, "WHAT? Um no you weirdo!" But seriously isn't that what we all want? Someone to tell us that we are doing a good job and to notice things when we want them to? Or maybe to notice things that we cannot see. It's not unnatural to want someone to celebrate in your successes and to help you achieve that success!
So why do you need a coach?
1.) To help you dig deep.
My job is to help you figure out why and I mean the why that has more importance than you wanting to get into your skinny jeans.
2.) To keep you accountable.
Seriously! Only 10 percent of people starting out a fitness program on their own quit. Why? Because there is no one there watching them to make sure they follow through. If you quit it's no ones fault but your own but when you do you are left with this feeling of BLEH is what I like to call it.
3.) To have a cheerleader on your side.
I know that having someone there that will be next to you telling you how great a job you did with that workout or someone talking you through your struggles is IMPERATIVE for success. I know for a fact that weight loss journeys are more than just the weight loss. It always becomes about something more and there is a fear that comes when you start to lose the weight. Having someone in constant contact that understands is crucial for success.
4.) You have someone to tweak your nutrition.
When you are going at it you always think that you are the one that knows what is best for you. While that is true I totally believe that to be true I also think that someone taking a non-judgemental look at what you are doing and eating can help you fix somethings in your diet. It could be as simple as maybe not eating so many carbs or giving up your candy every. single. night. I help to create a healthy balance to keep your weight loss and the weight lost and put you in maintenance.
5.) You won't be alone.
Like I said before, your weight loss journey is one that you go on alone. You might have a supportive husband or partner but eventually it will get kind of old. I know that talking to my husband as supportive as he is about all my healthy eating can be a burn out. I am a passionate person sometimes......ok all the time but sometimes you need to step out and think about how you might feel if they talked to you about cars or whatever they were interested in and passionate about ALL. THE. TIME. I don't know but i kind of zone out my husband when he talks obsessively about motorcycles ha ha ha ha. I'm just sayin'
I think everyone needs a coach to help get to where you want to be in your life. If it is business or fitness or anything really if there is a coach available take them up on their help who knows? You just might take yourself further than you have ever imagined going!

Where do you get MOTIVATION?
When I first starting taking an interest in before and after pictures I will be the first to admit that they were fake. That is, until I started my own journey to weight loss 3 TIMES. These pictures represent the struggle, the excitement, determination, hard work, and MOTIVATION.
The girl on the left never thought that she would see the girl on the right again. I was SO scared that I was going to be stuck with my "mom bod." I came from a place of negativity because I was self conscious and did not come from a place of confidence. I was SO insecure and DEVASTATED that I was back into my "old jeans." I saw reflections of me in the mirror and legit felt sad about how I looked. You can tell me all day that I just had a baby and I should enjoy motherhood but this "mom weight" was a struggle and while some women are all in the mom-ness I am just not one of those women. I did however know that it was going to take time to get close to where I wanted to be and I had the tools AND experience to get it done again so I DID grace myself with time.
The girl on the right has waited almost 9 months to get the weight off. It was not without struggle. December to February was TOUGH for me! I plateaued I was doing Body Beast and I got BIGGER in the arms and my hips were not moving. I took it upon myself to stop doing Body Beast and added in cardio with T25 and played around with 21 Day Fix workouts for strength and the cardio I believe was the KEY to my success. MY body needs cardio just as much as it needs strength training to get results. I listened to myself and I just did what my gut told me to do.
As a health coach people ALWAYS ask me where I find motivation to succeed AND to keep going once I had reached my goal. I have a few tips that may help you out!
1.) Believe in the end result!
I can't stress enough that even though there were plenty of days that I was not convinced that I would be the girl on the right, I believed OVERALL that I was going to get there. One day, I would get there. You may have your bad days but keep the end result in your mind. Visualize it!
2.) Define short term goals and hit them!
Saying that you want to lose 50 pounds is going to be a hefty goal. So break them down into scale and non scale victories. I made goals that I was going to go up in weight every week, or that I would eat clean for a whole week without cheats and that set my focus on being healthy which should be the end goal with a side effect of health being the vanity of losing the weight.
3.) Remember your why!
WHY are you doing this? Write it down and keep it with you! When you make a goal to lose weight you should know exactly why you are doing it. There are going to be days when there is pizza (or insert not healthy food here) in your face and you are going to "forget" why you even started to try and lose weight because you are thinking about the now. THINK ABOUT THE END GOAL it can be either your big or small goal but think about how happy you are going to be when you get there and ALWAYS have a reason to start the thing. You need to have a vision of where you want your life to go and find a way there!

21 Day Fix Extreme Week 2
So since doing my do-over I feel GREAT! I feel as if the first few days before my really bad cold was prep to do this thing! I actually would recommend it to people who are just starting out with the 21 Day Fix to have a prep week or a teaser week to play around with the idea of what you are doing for the next 21 days.
Some people starting can feel overwhelmed because the way of eating is SUPER clean and if you don't eat that way already I would suggest by starting out by measuring what you eat for a few meals and starting to try out recipes that you enjoy and portioning them out with some kind of regard to the rules so you get a feel but you can EASE into the program.
SO week 2. I loved it. The workouts felt easier in the sense that I knew what was coming so I was able to adapt and follow along better than week 1 where I was still trying to figure out what was going on and also finding my groove so to speak. Week 2 was where I noticed changes and the ultimate motivation to keep going to week 3.
I have not really felt hungry at all through the plan with the exception of between lunch and dinner but some of that is just from boredom because that is when I am wishing the work day to end and then my real day starts because I am up and about with house stuff, homework, feeding my little, bathing them and then getting them to bed so my mind is occupied on other things which is good because it gears me up for dinner. I have let go of my steel cut oats and focused on doing the paleo thing for the last two weeks.
This is starting to feel like a normal eating plan and I have enjoyed week 2 way better than week one probably for the simple fact that I wasn't "fighting" it, I started to embrace the whole program. I am starting to see results which is crazy to me! 2 weeks in and my stomach is flatter I notice more tone in my legs too!
I can tell you that I am scared that I will eat a little more food and I will gain the weight back because it just happened so fast I am afraid I am going to lose it just as fast which freaks me out a bit. I have not heard of anyone having that happen to them but when you see some changes my first thought is WOAH I love this and hope it sticks around.
My measurements/weight starting were......
129.6
Arms 10.5
Waist 27
Hips 37
Week 2
125.2
Arms 10.25
Waist 26.25
Hips 36.5
AND finally a picture so you are able to see my results!

How I lost the baby weight!
How I lost
the baby weight.
I think that when most women get pregnant one of their biggest
fears other than the health of the baby is how their body is going to change
and how much weight they are going to gain.
If you have been on a weight loss journey before the pregnancy I
feel that the feelings and fears are far worse. When I had my first two pregnancies
I gained 65 and 70 pounds and no one told me different with my first pregnancy.
People just let me be with my first pregnancy and I honestly, I PROMISE YOU I
HONESTLY THOUGHT that I would go back to 105 pounds after the first baby. I was
pregnant by myself meaning I was the first of my friends to get pregnant so I
was riding this one solo. My mother told me that I was all water weight and I
had no reason not to believe her she to me, was an expert. She was right but
not completely. I was left with 30 pounds after I lost the water, baby, etc. My
second pregnancy went back down to 135 within 6 months of beating my butt at
the gym doing the Body For Life program and eating a ton of chicken and
broccoli. I actually hate chicken and broccoli now that I am more educated on
healthy choices.
With my third pregnancy, I was well educated on health and
fitness and had my healthiest pregnancy. I gained 45 pounds and had to work for
10 pounds of weight loss. I was scared that I was going to go back to my old
ways and that I was going to get to 135 again and stay there. My body set point
must be 135 because when I lost the weight that is where it stopped and I had to
start fighting my body to get the weight off. I can tell you that it was a journey and it was frustrating
but worth getting back into my pre-pregnancy jeans. I am now at my
pre-pregnancy weight 127 but I would like to get back to my 120 pounds that I
was before I went on this binge at a wedding I went to the year I got pregnant
with Molly. I never bothered to lose the weight because I knew I was going to
get pregnant and that I did 2 months later.
How did I
lose the weight???
I ate real
food. I am not one to label myself to anything but I ate mostly
Paleo. The only times I strayed was for my weekly pizza happy meal habit with
occasional breadsticks.
So what did my meals consist of?
Chicken wings, chicken thighs, steaks of all kinds, seafood,
homemade broth, all kinds of vegetables, sweet potatoes, potato, rice
occasionally, pork of all cuts but mostly tenderloin it’s the most juicy cut
and an occasional chicken breast thrown in there but I am not kidding when I
tell you I hate chicken breasts. I did also eat chips and candy but in
moderation and NOT every day. I also threw in some popcorn there. **I
would have rather lost weight eating the things that I enjoy than depriving
myself for however long and being miserable** That my friends is the secret to
weight loss slow and steady = stress free long lasting weight loss
I did
Beachbody workout programs. I did do Crossfit as well but only for
about a month. I was getting exertion migraines and had to stop. I did Body
Beast right after but, my arms started to get REALLY big (I am a super petite
person and my arms were nearing 11 inches while the rest of my body was
shrinking LOL) and I didn’t like that so I started the 21 Day Fix Extreme
recently and I am loving the portion control and workouts and for the first
time doing the 21 Day Fix I am not hungry! I feel that I am fine tuning the
last bit of my weight loss.
I allowed
myself time.
There were moments when I got really frustrated. Here are a few
memorable ones!
I couldn’t do all the moves to my workouts because of my
Diastsis Recti.
My running sucked, I started back at a 12 minute mile from
running a 9 minute mile.
I couldn’t lift 20 pound weights anymore.
I was doing Body Beast and my inches and weight were stuck for
three weeks. With the exception of my ever growing arms I was stuck at a
plateau.
**I didn’t
realize what pregnancy did to a fit body because my last 2 pregnancies were
lazy**
After you have a baby you must remember that inside things are
happening and your body is healing. As much as we would all like it to happen
losing the baby weight is not as easy as some super celebrities make it out to
be. I wanted to have all the weight off by Christmas but I found that to be too
soon for a goal time even though I was close, I was putting too much pressure
on myself and changed it to a year after the baby was born. I did that because
realistically that’s how long it takes for the body to recover from pregnancy. Now
here I am at 8 month post fitting into my pre-pregnancy jeans but also knowing
that I am not finished yet. I need to create the buffer I had of 120-125 to
better suit my body.
This is pretty much how I succeeded. I took my time I was
patient for the most part with plenty of impatient days and when I least
expected it………last night, my pre-pregnancy clothes fit. No matter what journey
you are on patience is the key and keep remembering why you are doing this
which I hope is optimal health.
I realize this was a long post but I certainly hope that you
read through it and if you need help please ask. I would love to help you out
in any way that I can as long as you have the motivation to push through.

21 Day Fix Extreme Day 1
I tried to remember to take pictures but all I got was breakfast and lunch but at least you will get some kind of an idea of what I was doing today.
I woke up, weighed myself 128 pounds and went on about my business. I started to make my breakfast only to find that my son has a fever and he has succumbed to the flu that my daughter had a few days ago. This shall be the worst day of it if it followed hers at all. Then I look out the window and I see......a lot more SNOW. Living in New England is the pits especially when you just came out of Alaska ha ha. This too shall pass right? One day I will miss it right?............
For breakfast I measured out my vegetables and meat and made soup. Broth is not technically on the food list but I make it myself, don't add anything to it, and with the colds going around I am not about to miss out on my mineral rich bone broth Jusss sayin'
I am trying to do it Paleo all the way so we shall see how this works. I can already imagine myself OVER yams and sweet potatoes ha ha ha. Hey Autumn add some plantains and yucca in there lady for variety LOL. Anyway! I ate my soup and let that digest and when I put my little to nap I went in and pushed play.
Plyo Fix Extreme was on the calendar and that shhh was no joke! There was a MILLION jumping exercises and speed skaters were a welcome break! It was probably the longest 30 minutes ever but with all due respect to the program it was probably because I didn't know what was coming so now that I know it will be a breeze. I was drenched in sweat and breathing heavy all the way toward the end. I can tell you that I burned some serious calories because my appetite was on point today. I felt hungry but the food was suprisingly enough. I did feel a moment mod day where I was afraid it might not be but I was good and felt satisfied.
Lunch was steak with sweet potato zuchinni and asparagus. That was delicious! I should have added my double carb here because my appetite hit the roof after I ate lunch. so I think I will try doing that tomorrow.
Dinner was turkey meatballs and broccoli. For my snacks I had a protein shake and a whole banana. My other snack was double sweet potato, nuts and half a banana. I went on this plan on a whim and didn't really go grocery shopping to sustain this so Thursday will have to be the day that I do that but I have enough in my pantry to make it work and I guess I will be able to show you how to do it on a whim huh?
Tomorrow is upper fix extreme so we shall see how that works. I will try to take a picture since I already have to be THAT guy and bring the laptop in with me LMAO I don't know if imma take a selfie if you know what I mean ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! I can't even! Anyway tomorrow is another day! 1 day down 20 more to go.

21 Day Fix Extreme
SO, I totally bought into the hype and ordered the 21 Day Fix Extreme program. I didn't do the 21 Day Fix ever really. I bought it and it sat on my shelf because I was pregnant and then I had diastisis recti and was waiting for that to calm down and then Body Beast came into play.
**REAL MOMENT** I only lost 4 pounds on Body Beast and I have lost a bunch of inches but I was REALLY bulking. My arms were growing and so were my legs and while I was losing inches I wasn't really digging the look that Body Beast was giving me. I didn't like it because my goal since I have had my baby was to get back into my old clothes.
I had a hard time with Body Beast and the lack of results that I wanted despite knowing the type of program I was doing and was sad that I wasn't getting what I wanted even though the workouts were less than an hour and were still tough........
Bring in 21 Day Fix Extreme. I have hit a plateau, I have done everything from eating paleo and very strict paleo to heal my gut and did the Beast. I have also gone to the doctor and got my thyroid checked, changed my birth control, and my weight has moved so it has not been for a lack of trying and seeing if it was something hormonal that was going on. I even gave up candy successfully when I took on my paleo lifestyle and made it a permanent fixture in my life. So here I am with a struggle to find a solution as to why this is happening so the last thing I could think of to hit this plateau was portion control.......maybe if I give my body that kick in the butt it needs and still do it paleo style I will be able to get rid of this weight and inches that are lingering.
The premise of the 21 day fix is obviously portion control. So I am at the lowest calorie bracket, I upped it one more so that I could adjust to the eating and the last 2 weeks I will bring myself down. With going up one bracket I only add a fruit, carb, veg and 2 tsp of cooking fats I don't see it as that big of a deal because I am going to do it the paleo way so the calorie count will still be low. If I gt hungry I will snack on more vegetables like carrots and that will also add for crunch as well.
I am going to blog every day and take pictures of all my food to keep me accountable and hopefully to encourage people out there to lead a healthy lifestyle and get ideas of what someone eating paleo and trying to heal their gut is trying to achieve this. We shall see how it goes. Tomorrow is day 1.

Body Beast Week 4-5
I have not written much.....life has been hectic to say the least and like many of you I am thankful for the rest during the holidays but I am SO glad that it is over! I can concentrate on getting balance again. Well.......more balance than before. My daughter is 7 months old today and balance has not really been in the forefront in our home and the holidays threw us for a loop as well. BALANCE is that too much to ask for? Sometimes I think that it is.
Week 4 and 5 of Body Beast were pretty much me figuring out where I was with the weights and feeling comfortably uncomfortable there. Week 5 was a tough week for me mentally because I saw a ton of change in week 3 and I feel like I don't see any progress and I got frustrated but still push through even though I didn't give my all to a few of the workouts. I did them, I lifted heavy, but because my mind was off in "this shit isn't working land" I didn't feel that great about week 5. I think I remember going through the same thing when I was doing P90X. Realistically I just hit the 30 day mark so seeing changes that early is huge. I still have 7 weeks to go so there is still a ton of room for change.
As far as my diet goes it has been 80/20 even though I feel like I was 50/50. CONFESSION: I had pizza 2 times in one week. Probably why I have been beating myself up for the past couple of days. My excuse for eating pizza for those days......I wanted it and I was tired of cooking 2 meals per meal a day. My kids eat one way and my husband and I eat another to say I was TIRED of cooking was an understatement. I was also battling one heck of a cold. I was worn the heck out. I don't feel guilty about eating it that shhhhh was good! but.....I know it may have hindered my results. I am not naive :)
So that is pretty much it. I took pictures for my challenge group but I am not willing to share those. Once I take some that are decent I will post my day 1 and current so you all can see progress because heck isn't that what you read this stuff for? I know I do. I want to know and see the changes that a particular program is about. To date i have not had any other results on the scale or on the tape measure other than feeling strong and having a mostly positive outlook on my body and being healthy overall. :)

21 Day Fix Day 1
I don't know if I am going to be updating this every single day but for today I will provide an update on how I am doing, then I think I am going to go with weekly or wait a few days between each post as far as an update goes.
I am doing level 2, I should be doing level 1 but since I am breastfeeding I added more calories since I am burning some from pumping all the time. I have a pretty cool app on my phone to track my containers for the day which I am really excited about. So, here goes my day on the 21 Day Fix!
So Day 1.......I can say that it went well. I only got hungry once but I think that is because I had to wait an eternity to eat because my daughter was a little fussy today with eating. I woke up and had Shakeology with 2 tbs of PB. I like that in the morning because the baby is sleeping and I can get most of what I want done as far as my quiet time with Jesus and getting some chores done and cleaning up all the bottles from the night before that we used.
For my second meal I had 2 eggs with asparagus and strawberries. It was really good and filled me up. After that I did the 21 Day Fix workout to see if I could and I did the modifications on everything, skipped the ab section, and went ahead and did 30 min on the elliptical. It felt refreshing to feel somewhat normal in the exercise department again.
For my third meal I had tuna, sweet potatoes (2 servings), and more asparagus. This meal I had to make quick because Princess Molly was being fussy and I had to leave the house to get the kiddo enrolled in my medical plan and to pick up my husband from work, um yeah, it was pretty hectic! HA HA! WHEW we will NOT be going out much in the next few weeks.
Meal 4 I ate when I got home from running errands, I had grapes and the left over sweet potatoes, I should have eaten a veg but I forgot.
Meal 5 I just had and it was steak, kale, and asparagus with grapes for dessert. I should have added another vegetable serving to my meal but I just don't want it. If I get hungry tonight I will go ahead and grab something from the fridge but I don't really see that happening. Considering that I was in a rush and my child was crazy today I totally think I faired pretty well.
I am totally wondering if I am going to eat the vegetable or not LOL.....darn I hate forgetting things but I guess that can make up for the coconut milk that I had in my shake LOL. WOOOPS I am so used to making it that way that I was just on auto pilot this morning but hey, it was just coconut milk!
I am doing really well as far as sugar and all that goes so we shall see what happens at the end of the week.
My goal for this week is to stay the hell off the scale and to eat all of my food in that I am supposed to.
Until the next 21 Day Fix update ;)
I am doing level 2, I should be doing level 1 but since I am breastfeeding I added more calories since I am burning some from pumping all the time. I have a pretty cool app on my phone to track my containers for the day which I am really excited about. So, here goes my day on the 21 Day Fix!

Postpartum Plans
I have been pretty obsessed with my post pregnancy plans. It happened to me when I was pregnant with my second child. I was tired of being BIG and carrying all that weight. I was also pumped because my husband bought me an iPod and I went out and got myself some new sneakers and all that ha ha. I was READY but still had a baby in there. Now, it seems that I have the same itch ha ha. The only exception is that I want to go back to my normal workouts! I still have a long time to go but I am really excited to get started toward my new body.
I recently registered for the 2014 Wine and Dine Half Marathon that is now SOLD OUT. That thing sold out in a week! You better believe that I was on my phone on the treadmill at 12:00 on the dot buying my ticket and my husbands after party ticket! I wasn't going to miss out on this adventure. In December I already knew that I wanted to register for this half marathon. I put it on my goal board and it is going to come true ha ha. I just hope that I will be strong enough to do the damned thing come November as I am only going to be between 4 and 5 months postpartum ha ha.
I also plan on doing P90X to tone back up. If anything I will do the 3 lifting days and the Yoga day and leave the rest to pounding the pavement. I think I should be ok there with that, if it becomes too much than I will re-evaluate and take it from there.
I also plan on walking as soon as I feel up to it even it is a mile or half a mile or so just to keep my body moving. I couldn't imagine being so active for 9 months of pregnancy to just do nothing for 6 weeks. That's not to say that I am not going to rest relax and enjoy my teeny baby, but I am not going to be sedentary the whole 6 weeks either.
For my diet......I don't really know. I think I am just going to keep it VERY clean and not worry about calories and all that, but more about eating as healthy as I can as I plan on pumping my milk for my baby. I am going to cut out all the junk food and indulgences that I have been having on a daily basis and go somewhat on a detox of that stuff and just eat good, green, and healthy :)
We shall see what the future hold for me. This plan is best case scenario as we all know life doesn't always go as planned but I am happy to finally have a road map planned out for me.

How to: Reading nutrition labels
I know that not everyone eats so fresh and clean and some people rely on nutrition labels to buy their food products.
I personally advocate eating less things in a box with a nutrition label but no one is perfect, not even me so let's get to your little lesson on nutrition labels.
Serving size: This is the serving size for 1 SERVING and lists how many servings there are in the package of whatever you buy. When you are eating overly processed or higher calorie no good for you foods, the serving sizes are going to be ridiculous. I mean have you seen how many chips are in a serving size for Lay's. let's get real people NO ONE eats an ounce or has a king size bag and saves the rest for later. PUHLEASE not even I do that! NOM NOM get in my face!
Calories: This one is pretty obvious. It tells you how many calories are in each SERVING of the food that you are eating. So is 200 calories for 12 chips worth it to you? I mean it may be. Maybe it won't that day. Who knows but that is the calorie count for ONE SERVING.
Fats/Sodium: This is where you want to be careful. Anything over 200 mg of sodium is TOO HIGH and is going to cause some serious bloat factor. It will cause water retention and all sorts of things. Be careful even when buying vegetables in a can, beans in a can or tomato sauces and such because the preservatives that they put in these things can be EXTREMELY high. Also beware of soups and stocks, these usually carry about 600+ milligrams of sodium and if you are trying to watch your weight you can be assured that if you aren't drinking a gallon of water a day you will probably gain a pound or two and wonder why the next morning.
Fat is just that, fat. Most things always have fat in them but the higher the percentage of fat in your foods the more calories it has and the more calories from fat it has as well. Fat isn't always a bad thing, if we are talking about avocados and peanut butter or olive oil these are good for you fats BUT should be used in moderation because it WILL make you FAT.
Fiber: You want to have fiber in your food. It helps in the digestive process. It creates somewhat of a ball and rolls through your intestines getting rid of all the gunk that is in there out. Fiber also helps to make you regular.
Nutrients: This is where your vitamins and minerals are and you should be getting enough of those as well. If you are eating raisins per say your nutrients are going to be higher in this area than if you were eating chips. (I swear I am not a chip hater ha ha)
If you want to figure out where all of your calories are coming from in your meals you can take the grams of each component carbohydrates, fats, and protein and use this equation to see where your calories are going
FAT - 9 calories per gram
CARBOHYDRATE: 4 calories per gram
PROTEIN: 4 Calories per gram
This way you can see where your calories are going and you can judge your food from there. I always say that the best policy is to eat food without a nutrition label that way you are the safest you can be. We all know that we aren't all perfect so I hope you take this information and absorb it :)
Until next time!!!!

21 DAY FIX TEST GROUP
I have totally booked my first test group and was waiting to open another test group soon once I started hearing the results of my girls in the group.
One of them lost 3 pounds in 4 days and another one lost 4 pounds in 4 days! I seriously couldn't believe it myself. I have not gained any weight while on the program which is good. I am still right on target with my weight gain for my pregnancy and I am really happy about that. Ideally I would like to gain the 25-35 that is recommended and I was at the 35 pound weight gain part so if I could keep that in check by watching what I am eating than I would really like to do that. OK SO I digressed BIG time! HA HA!
So this challenge is going to start on the 3rd and end on the 24th of the month! I am sooo super excited to be able to assist you in reaching your goals!!!!! This will probably the last challenge that I hold in March for this because the meal plans that I am creating are uber time consuming!
SO here's the deal of course you get me as your coach you get the program with the 7 workouts and shipping $15 is free if you order the challenge pack by Feb 28th so ordering it as soon as possible is ideal so that you can save the $70 overall.
In the package you get
21 Day Fix workouts
Color coded containers for measuring your food
Meal plan/guide
Workout calendar
3 Day fix to get bikini ready QUICK
Shakeology in the flavor of your choice
and me as your coach!
Please email me or FB friend request me if you have any questions or want to join my challenge!

I'm going on VACATION!!!!!
When I got the invitation for this trip I was SO excited to be a part of it! I am one of 15 women that were exclusively chosen to make this trip because I was successful in making my business grow and I was growing a team so not only was I helping other people I am being rewarded for doing just that!!!!! I am seriously so excited!!!!!
Being a coach has change and challenged me in so many ways that I am consistently growing as a person and leader in my business. To be asked to come on this trip is an honor and I can't even believe that I get an all inclusive trip to go hangout for just working my business and helping others achieve their dreams!!!
So the trip is in a lodge in Pittsburg, there is availability for hiking and what not there I don't know if I will be going outside in the winter ha ha ha but it's available for us if we want to do it.
We will also have a hot tub, heated pool, food and drinks, and tons of space to spread out and bond with other women and men that are also going to be at the retreat. It is also going to be a training oppourtunity to learn from the people that are ahead of me in rank. Learning tips from the people is a GREAT reason to go! The training that we are going to do is going to be intense and we are going to be immersed with so much knowledge that I am definitely going to need a notebook ha ha ha!
I think that one of the biggest challenges being in the business that I am is that you are essentially by yourself because DUH it is your business, sometimes it makes it hard to grab that motivation by the horns and do the things that you are supposed to in this business when you are having a bad day or things really aren't working your way. I mean there is social media which is a great resource but being around like-minded people in this business is paramount if you are going to make it in this business!
I am so grateful for this opportunity and chance to be around others that have the same goal is going to fill the tank and keep me going!!!! I am soooooo so so so so excited and I can't wait to show you pictures of everything that we did while we are there learning to be able to help other people change their lives!!!!!!!

Where do you find the time?
It's a question that I am asked often when it comes to fitting in my workouts. My answer, I do it when I can but make sure I get it done that day.
I used to have a set time to workout but I have not yet found my groove at my current duty station so things switch around. I love waking up in the morning and getting my workout knocked out and I would LOVE to do that but at this time my pregnant behind would have to wake up at 4:30 just to get the workout it and that would mean sacrificing family time by going to bed at 7. So, I now either workout during my lunch break (my job gives me 90 min) or right after work. Since I am doing Chalean Extreme the 30 minutes of quiet time after work to get my workout in really works for me and on the weekends I do my workout 1 hour after eating breakfast whenever it is that I wake up and actually get to it so it's anywhere between 9-11 in the mornings.
I have a few tips that may help you find your groove to finding time to get your workout in.
Write out your schedule - List everything that you do so that you can see what your day looks like.
Look for an open spot - Look for an open spot in your schedule if it is something like TV time or quiet time maybe try adding your workout in there giving up 30-60 minutes of your TV time to change your life is totally worth it.
Schedule your workout - Fit the time in for your workout and make it non-negotiable NO IF AND OR BUTS it is your workout time unless something comes up like a vacation, a sick child, you are sick, or something else that can deter you. It becomes your job your workout is something that you HAVE to do because you HAVE to take care of your body and health.
Have a back-up plan - Things happen we all know this life waits for no one so always have a plan B in mind. If I know that I can't workout at 5 PM than I make the time during lunch to workout or I will get up in the morning to get it done or switch my rest day if neither works out with my daily things to do that day or I just cancel on my girls night out but that would probably be when trying to lose this baby weight ha ha!
If you want to succeed than you will do what you have to do to make things work. You would take another shift at work just to get some extra cash to make ends meet or for some Christmas money think of your workout in that way. It is something that you have to do and is a component of a healthy lifestyle.
How bad do you want it and how far are you willing to go to go get it? Maybe you should revisit your goals and why you started this healthy lifestyle and relight your fire to get there.

Challenge Group FAQ
There
are so many people out there that don’t really know what a challenge group is
and it sounds kind of weird when someone is posting for their new one coming
up. Unless you know what exactly I am talking about you probably have no clue.
I
like to call mine weight loss challenges only because it is self explanatory. I
don’t like giving people the wrong idea so here is a brief over view of what I
do with my support groups so hopefully you will walk away from this well
informed on what I do
1.
What is a challenge group?
It
is a way for like minded people who want to lose weight to come together in a
an online forum for motivation support and most of all accountability to get
your workouts and healthy eating to become a priority in each other’s life.
There are daily assignments, a meal plan, and your workouts.
2.
What do I need to do in a challenge group?
You
should have 5-10 minutes available daily to log onto facebook join and
participate daily in the assignments. It will help build friendships and help
all of you stay accountable and motivated.
3.
Why would I benefit so much from a challenge group?
My
opinion is that most people go on their weight loss journey by themselves.
Ultimately you are doing this to change you but it’s always nice to have a
cheerleader on the side. Occasionally you have a friend or two that come along
but at some point if the whole group doesn’t participate you tend to let your
goals fall to the wayside because it becomes a group thing and not an
individual thing. Often times you go at this by yourself and when you lose
steam there is no one there to pick you up which is why challenge groups are
here. This way you have like minded people that all have the same goals and you
are accountable to me, your coach and the members in your group.
4.
What do I need to be in a challenge group?
To
be in one of my challenge groups you will need to purchase or dig out and dust
off one of your Beachbody workouts and purchase Shakeology. For the 21 days of
the challenge you will be replacing one meal a day with Shakeology and
completing your workout while following the meal plan provided or the one
provided with your workout.
5.
Why this challenge over any other?
Why not? The only investment you will be
making is an investment in your health. You have a workout and meal replacement
shake that is top of the line and costs less than 2 sessions with a personal
trainer or a few months gym membership. I mean seriously……..you wouldn’t even
get anywhere with 2 trainer sessions and would you really make it to the gym
every day? I don’t know only you can answer that question but throwing my
workout clothes at home and not having to go anywhere is much more appealing to
me than leaving my house and driving 20 minutes in rain, snow, or whatever to
get my workout in. BUT to each his own and everyone has their particulars and
way of doing things. This isn’t the way for everyone but why not stay open
minded?
6.
How can I sign up?
I really like to do an interview process for
my challenge groups because I like to get to know an individual before actually
getting them started. I really prefer to build relationships with people and
let them know that I am truly there for them so that they can see that this
isn’t just something that you are thrown into that perhaps maybe other coaches
do. I truly care about your individual needs and want to get you through the
challenge group with the BEST success possible! So if you would like

My pregnancy must haves SO far
I think every woman has their set of things that they NEED and enjoy using while pregnancy. This is what I have consistently been using since I have been pregnant and it has helped me feel as close to normal as you can while carrying a little nugget. So here we go!
I know that most pregnancy is hormonal but you can't help but want to do something about it so I did some internet research and I found this stuff. There IS some stuff out there that is VERY expensive, sorry I am not going to be paying no $119 for something I am going to put on my face for 5 seconds to then rinse down the drain. This stuff costs $22 you can order it online and you can also pick it up at Ulta. I also got the blemish cream and it has helped tame the hormonal acne as well and diminish some of the marks. The best part is, is that this stuff is all natural. :)
This is by far my OTHER favorite. I bought this a few weeks after I was able to start moving again and it is showing me how active or unactive I have been. The first few weeks I had it I was doing Turbofire and hit my 10,000 steps but sheesh it is really hard to get them. On a regular day I get between 5-7,000 steps. I am doing Chalean Extreme now with a little bit of Turbofire in there now. My body is actually telling me to slow down so I think the elliptical and I are going to be having 30 minute dates in the future......NOT my idea of fun, maybe Zumba? LOL All I know is that I need to get those 10,000 steps in there :)
I don't think I need to say more about this, I am not using this brand but a probiotic has been my LIFESAVER with this pregnancy! :)
I can't say enough about this stuff I LOVE it. I get all my vitamins and minerals and I am GOOD with that! I really love my shake I have been using it for the past 3 years and I am glad that I can continue to use it.
Oh hey! 5 days a week 30-45 minutes long and I get to keep my muscles? Need I say more?? NAH! You get the point!
Tummy butter, boobie cream and a leg cream i mean this combo is great they have a pregnancy combo pack for $30 and you can't beat that price considering these products are a bit on the hefty side. I do use as little as I can but it sure does go a long way. It is super moisturizing and super creamy I love love love this stuff!!!!!
That is pretty much all I have for now. I don't want to over do it with products anyway. But this is what I have been up to on the pregnancy front. One of these days is pregnancy brain will remind me to take pictures I will do a What I Ate Wednesday :) That way you can see what my "typical" diet is!
ENJOY :)

21 Day Fix FAQ
Recently I posted on my Facebook page about a 21 day program to lose 10 pounds. Here is what it said;
If I could provide a 21 day workout program that's 30 minutes long, a meal plan with a way to deal with portion control so that you know what you will and won't be able to get away with, and in turn you lose 10 pounds would you be interested in doing it?
The response was overwhelming and I was totally surprised that so many people responded to my post that I had to take a minute and write a post about it so that I could answer general questions about the product! First here is a short video on the program! Check it out!
All about the 21 Day Fix Workout and Eating plan due out 2/3/14
Background:
The 21 Day Fix is a Beachbody program created by Autumn Calabrese. She is a Mom, fitness model, blogger at modernmom.com, and is a quadruple certified fitness trainer. She created the program for people that are struggling with their weight no matter what they do. It is a 21 day straight program that focuses on portion control. The best part is that you can essential eat whatever you want….the catch? It must fit in the appropriate container. You must workout 7 days a week for the 21 days and her tests groups the average weight loss was between 10 and 15 pounds.
It is bundled so that anyone can do it. I am pregnant right now and I am going to do the food part of the 21 Day Fix so that I can be the healthiest I can for me and my child. I know the workouts aren’t tailored for pregnant women but I will take a look at each one to see if I can manage any of them I love love love that things are portioned out. This can be used by ANYONE men, women, breastfeeding moms, vegetarians; there is something in it for everyone!
Packages:
The challenge pack that includes Shakeology and the program is bundled at $140 with $2.00 shipping a savings of about $70 if bought and shipped separately.
The Base package itself is $60 with shipping.
The Ultimate Package is $119
In the base package you get;
2 DVD’s with 7 workouts that are 30 min each. They include pilates, circuit training, yoga, upper body circuit, lower body circuit. Most of these are made with a 60 second blitz and a 10-20 minute break which is pretty different.
Color coded Tupperware
Guidebook
Meal planner and food list
The Deluxe package includes everything in the base package PLUS;
2 additional workouts,
Resistance band
A bag to carry your meals if you are one that is on the go like I am
Additional Details:
The beauty of this plan and why I like it so much is you get a list of foods for each thing like carbs, proteins and such. If it fits in the container than you can eat it no guilt allowed and NO CALORIE COUNTING! You can even have wine and chocolate. I mean come on! This is the easiest plan I think I have ever heard of I haven’t seen it yet!
You will get a daily limit of how much of each food you can get based on your activity level which is genius because I won’t be eating the same as you. It’s totally individualized and I love that!!! While I don’t know exactly what the food lists look like I know that there is and will be something there for everyone.
For equipment you will need either dumbbells are best but resistance bands will work too.
I hope this answers most of the questions that you may have been curious in regards to this epic program. I think that overall this is going to be a game changer. I plan on doing this after I have my baby as well to help me lose the weight which hopefully isn’t too much but I want to get back into my pre-baby shape as soon as possible as I have a weight standard to uphold in the military. I will have more information on Jan 30th about the complete program and will be able to help more.
I will be hosting a Challenge Group on Feb 10th and the 17th and hope that you will allow me to assist you in meeting oyur health and fitness goals!

Turkey sausage, pepper, and potatoe
There are times when I cook dinner and I come up with a recipe well, not really I scour the internet for something and then make it my own or put my own spin on it. That's pretty much how I cook. I love mixing flavors and trying new things. Sometimes it doesn't work out but more often than not BAM I make my husband happy and as a chick who cooks healthy and can make her husband happy then you know very well that you have hit the jackpot right?!?!?!
So here it is!
Turkey Keilbasa (the whole thing)
1 green pepper
1 red pepper
Garlic minced (as much as you would like)
2 tsp Cajun seasoning
2-3 potatoes depending on the size
I first boil the potatoes. Once those are done I slice the turkey keilbasa and the vegetables. I get the keilbasa going and then throw the peppers in and lastly the potatoes and seasoning with garlic. I toss that around and put it on low heat and let all the flavors meld together. After about 8-10 minutes I take it out and BLOOP you have a one bowl meal! I loved it and I will def add it to my rotation. I mean, it's not the HEALTHIEST thing that you could eat but if you want to make it healthier you can add some real turkey sausage in there or add chicken to it and you should be pretty golden!
I hope you enjoy!!!!

I am starting a new challenge group this month and will continue to have one monthly. This challenge group is going to be 21 days in length and help you begin your healthy lifestyle. You will be with me long enough to be able to create a habit of healthy eating and exercise in addition to being motivated by seeing your pretty AMAZING results!
You HAVE to be willing to keep an open mind and follow the rules of the support group. Please remember what your goals are and allow me to help you!
Here is what you have to do!
EMAIL ME jeannettealverio(at)yahoo(dot)com and let me know that you are interested in the group.
EMAIL ME jeannettealverio(at)yahoo(dot)com and let me know that you are interested in the group.
I MUST be your assigned coach, so if you don't have a coach, click this link and create a FREE ONE!
If you have an assigned coach, you have two options!
Reach out to your current coach and see if they run their own challenges
or
If you are not working with your assigned coach and would like to switch, you can do so by writing coachrelations@beachbody.com and requesting to have your coach changed to Jeannette Alverio #112419.
I do not charge anything extra for you to be a part of my challenges… I require is the following:
1. You must choose a Beachbody
at-home fitness program. If you own one and that is the one that you want to do I am totally okay with that. If you need to purchase a program, make sure you
ask me how you can save between 25-30% OFF by ordering your Shakeology
and program together! I can also assist you in finding a program that meets your goals and lifestyle challenges. Just because for example, P90X worked for me, it may not work for you because you don't ave or want to make 1 and 1/2 hours to workout.
2. You must be willing to replace
one meal a day with Shakeology for the 21 days and follow my nutrition
guide. This is going to ensure you get the results you desire within the 21 day period of the challenge. Your nutrition makes up 70% of your results…
Therefore there will be a major emphasis on teaching you how to eat to
FUEL your body during the challenge! With what you will learn from me in your challenge you will be able to carry it forward through out your fitness journey.
3. You must be open-minded and open to sharing & participate in the group DAILY. We have
assignments/check ins that will help you overcome obstacles
and grow as a person so you can see this as a lifestyle change and not a quick
fix. That is not what myself or Beachbody is all about. We want you to be the best you that you can be and to achieve your goals! It will require approx 5-10 minutes of your day, if you are already on Facebook it should be a cinch!
